Acceptable & Unacceptable Items

We have the highest quality standards for our sales to make sure our Mamas get the best for their families!  We will inspect items thoroughly before putting them on the sales floor.  Please review our quality standards before pricing, tagging and dropping off items. We want our buyers and consignors to know what to expect when it comes to MamaCents merchandise!

Unacceptable Items

These WILL NOT be accepted:

WE WILL NO LONGER accept VHS Tapes

• WE WILL NO LONGER BE TAKING Car seats OR TRAVEL SYSTEMS FOR INFANTS.
• NO CRIBS WILL BE ACCEPTED
• We only accept sealed-in-package, new underwear. No used underwear.

• Used Bras, even Maternity or Nursing
• Plus size clothing used as Maternity clothing (It MUST be maternity and not just 18, 20, 22 etc.)
• Due to items not selling, we will no longer accept basic maternity t-shirts, sweat shorts, sweat pants, or any other lounge type wear.
• Breast pump accessories will NOT be accepted - the pumps will, but not the tubing, horns, etc.
• No opened consumable or drug store items will be accepted, such as baby food, formula, baby bath, lotions, diaper creams, etc.
• Stuffed animals UNLESS they are battery operated, Disney, or popular children's characters
• Diaper pails or Genies
• Used baby feeding equipment (unless in original unopened packaging)
• Any small inflatable toys (must use a pump to inflate)
• Any items that are Recalled (Recall info here)
  

All of this is so our shoppers get the absolute best quality items at wonderful prices.

Acceptable Items

These WILL be accepted:

• ALL SEASONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS SALE
• Junior sizes will be accepted at all of our sales. We will accept sizes 0 to 16 for girls and boys and 0-15 in juniors.  If an item is marked small, med, large etc.  in the description give your best estimate on the number size.
• Bring clothes in first-class condition (cleaned and ironed). We can NOT accept stained, badly worn clothing with excessive fading or lint balls, torn clothing, items with missing buttons, or broken snaps, etc. Outfits sold as 1 item should be put on the same hanger and pieces secured with safety pins to the hanger.
• Maternity clothing needs to be in great shape and in style. Due to items not selling, we will no longer accept basic maternity t-shirts, sweat shorts, sweat pants, or any other lounge type wear. We want to sell your best maternity items. This category MUST be actual Maternity clothing and not ladies plus sizes. Maternity sizes labeled Small, Medium, Large etc. will be accepted as well as the standard number size.
• Shoes must be in like new condition. Some wear is expected on soles. These should be stain free inside and out.
• Accessories-such as belts, hair accessories, hats etc.
• Baby Equipment (strollers, exersaucers, highchairs, Pack N Play, etc.)
• Baby Care Items (Boppy pillows, monitors, safety products, baby carriers, etc.)
• Baby and Children’s furniture and décor (gliders, toddler beds, dressers, changing tables, etc). Items such as nursery lamps MUST have working light bulbs for our inspection.
• Toys - Toys that require batteries MUST have working batteries in them - you can pick these up at Dollar store inexpensively. Items MUST WORK before being accepted. Toys and games must have all pieces. Toys with pieces should be sealed in a zip lock bag, taped shut with packing tape and the tag taped to the outside of the bag. Puzzles can be wrapped in plastic wrap and taped shut. Small toys may be combined in zip lock bags and sold as one item. No Happy Meal toys or giveaway toys will be accepted.
• Sports related items (uniforms, equipment in good condition)
• Books, Games, DVD, Puzzles, etc. (Everything should be rated G, PG, or PG13)
• Baby Feeding - This category is limited to products that are NEW and unopened in ORIGINAL PACKAGING for sanitary reasons and includes products such as Sippy cups, bottles, pacifiers, feeding utensils, etc. Bibs ARE acceptable ONLY if no stains.
• Furniture- Changing Tables, Rocking Chairs, Bassinets, Dressers, toddler beds, Bunk Beds
• WE WILL NO LONGER BE TAKING Car seats OR TRAVEL SYSTEMS FOR INFANTS.
• NO CRIBS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
